Behind every rescued dog is a team of passionate people who care deeply about giving animals a second chance. Volunteers play a vital role at BARC, helping with feeding, socialising dogs, assisting with daily sanctuary care and supporting rescue efforts across Bali. Whether you can offer a few hours, a few days or a longer stay, your time and kindness make an enormous difference to animals recovering from hardship. Join our community of compassionate volunteers and experience the joy of helping save lives.

Every day in Bali, injured and abandoned dogs are struggling to survive without food, shelter or medical care. BARC works tirelessly to rescue these animals, provide life-saving veterinary treatment and give them a safe place to recover. But this work is only possible because of compassionate people like you. Apply for the Bali Dog Adoption Rehabilitation Centre (BARC) Sanctuary Volunteer Program. At present, we accept volunteers for periods of 5 days to a maximum of 7 days (Package minimum advised donation starts from AUD250 per person. The volunteer may organize their own accommodation, or stay at our serenity house.
