Our Mission
BARC – the Bali Dog Adoption and Rehabilitation Centre – has been on the frontlines of animal rescue in Bali for over a 20 years. Our sanctuary provides permanent refuge for dogs who have nowhere else to go.
From emergency street rescues to community sterilisation drives, we work tirelessly to reduce suffering and create a safer Bali for both dogs and people. Our veterinary team provides world-class care and our adoption program has placed hundreds of dogs into loving forever homes.
We are 100% funded by donations and staffed by a passionate team of local and international volunteers who share one belief: every dog deserves compassion.
